We lasted almost 4 months, which I think is pretty impressive considering that Billy and I basically work in little germ incubators. It started as a dry cough Saturday night, got wetter on Sunday and Monday. I took Tuesday off work to take him to the doctor just to make sure it was only a cold and nothing worse. Everything looked fine, but he definitely had a cold. The problem with a baby cold is that they can't blow their nose. We went back to the doctor the following Monday for his 4 month check up and he was worse - a lot of weezing, a stuffed up nose that wouldn't run and just generally miserable. Because his oxygen saturation was down, we ended up skipping his shots and coming home with a nebulizer for breathing treatments.
He was very fascinated with the mask:
He thought it looked very tasty:
But he ended up being a very good helper!
